Several members of the Colorado College cross country and track & field teams recently volunteered at Soaring Eagles Community School for World Read Aloud Day. Stefani Messick (cross country and track alum '17) invited the team to read to their elementary classes.

Josh Williams, Emma Jones, Allison Barker, Vincent Mangat, Chloe Johnson, Luc Santos, Alison Mueller-Hickler and Asher Luengas joined the Soaring Eagle students.
 
"As a former Colorado College track athlete and now a teacher, it was incredibly meaningful to watch CC students inspire my own," Messick said. "Their enthusiasm, compassion, and genuine connection with our kids brought reading to life and showed our students what it looks like to lead with both a passion for learning and care for others. It was a truly full-circle moment."
