The Colorado College track & field teams will split squads this weekend, with sprinters and field athletes heading to Abilene, Texas, for the War Hawk Classic, April, 10-11, while distance runners will compete at the Kit Mayer Classic in Golden, Colo., on Saturday, April 11.

The Tigers competed at the Jerry Quiller Classic in Boulder, Colo., last Saturday.

Rabbit Barnes and
Jonah Greenberg each posted a second-place result for the men's team, which was the only Division III school at the meet.
Â
Barnes was the runner-up in the 800 with a time of 3:52.28, when converted for altitude is a 3:46.74, the third-fastest time in Division III this spring.

Greenberg, meanwhile, produced a leap of 43' 4.5" in the triple jump and also finished fourth in the long jump at 20' 7.25", followed by
Griffin Stewart in fifth (19' 11.5") and
Sean Lam in sixth (16' 6").

Mack Levy led a 6-7-8 finish by the Tigers in the 800, finishing in 1:57.79.
Huck Whittemore was seventh in 1:57.99 and
Lincoln Brewer eighth in 1:58.34.

Other individual top-10 results included
Vincent Mangat finishing seventh in the 400 hurdles (58.33 seconds),
Oliver Smeal eighth in the 400 (49.39) and
Liam Powell ninth in the 400 hurdles (59.62).

Allison Barker and
Thalia Goessling each posted a fourth-place result for the women's team.Â

Barker placed fourth in the 1500 with a season-best time of 4:42.51, which is the 17
th-fastest in Division III with the altitude adjustment, while Goessling was fourth in the 400 with a personal-best time of 58.17 seconds. Goessling also finished eighth in the 200 with a PR 26.21 seconds.

Other individual top-10 results were
Abby Goodfried sixth in the 1500 (4:45.69),
Kiara Martin eighth in the pole vault (9' 0.5"),
Jane Keenan ninth in the high jump (4' 11.5") and
Clara Kirr (1:00.34) and
Emma Jones 10
th (1:02.04) ninth and 10
th, respectively, in the 400.
Alison Mueller-Hickler also placed 10
th in the 800 with a time of 2:24.40.

Barker Named SCAC Tri-Tack Athlete of the Week
Allison Barker was named the SCAC Women's Tri-Track Athlete of the Week following an outstanding performance last Saturday in Boulder, Colo.
Â
Barker, from Bethesda, Md., finished fourth in the 1500 at the Jerry Quiller Classic with a time of 4:42.51, competing against Division I and II athletes. When converted for altitude her time is 4:35.78, the 17th-fastest time in Division III and the top clocking in the SCAC this spring.
