The Colorado College track & field teams will compete at the WashU Distance Classic in St. Louis, Mo., March 26-27, and the Chuck Haering Invitational in Pueblo, Colo., March 27-28.
Who Is Running Where?
Alison Mueller-Hickler and
Charlie Flint from the women's team and
Axel Klomparens from the men's squad will run in St. Louis, while the rest of the Tigers will be in Pueblo.

Last Time Out
The Tigers competed at the Dr. Dan Caprioglio Early Bird Invitational at CSU-Pueblo last weekend. Competing against Division I and II teams, the Tigers posted several highlights.
Leading the way was
Oliver Smeal, who shattered his own school record in the men's javelin with a toss of 209' 8", posting the fourth-best toss in all of Division III this season and surpassing his old record of 181' 9".
Josh Williams put together three Top-5 results, finishing fifth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.22 seconds and as a member of the winning 4x100 relay along with Smeal,
Griffin Stewart and
Jonah Greenberg in 41.53 seconds, then joined Smeal, Greenberg and
Huck Whittemore on the 4x400 relay team that finished fifth in 3:21.47.
On the women's side,
Alison Mueller-Hickler led the Colorado College women's track and field team with a seventh-place finish in the 800 Saturday at the Dr. Dan Caprioglio Early Brid Meet in Pueblo, Colo.
Mueller-Hickler finished the race with a time of 2:22.02, followed by
Charlie Flint in 11
th place in 2:27.49,
Sky Theodosopoulos in 18
th in 2:35.18 and
Asher Luengas in 19
th in 2:37.79.
The Tigers competed with several Division I and II teams at the meet, hosted by CSU-Pueblo.
Clara Kirr placed 14
th in the 400 with a time of 1:00.32, while
Clara Lippert was 18
th in 1:10.65.
Abby Goodfried led the Tigers in the 1500 with a time of 4:50.72, good for 21
st place.
Four Tigers placed in the top 20 in the high jump, led by
Jane Keenan in 10
th place with a height of 4' 11.75". She was followed by
Emma Jones (11
th),
Molly Vance (15
th) and
Mimi Blomgren (17
th).
Rabbit Barnes Named West Region Indoor Athlete of the Year
Senior
Rabbit Barnes was named the Division III West Region Male Athlete of the Year for indoor track by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Barnes finished runner-up in the mile at the NCAA DIII Indoor Championships, which was the best result by any athlete from the West Region. Earlier in the season, Barnes clocked a PR of 4:04.95 at the Husky Classic and set a 3000-meter PR of 8:47.85 in January.
