Charlotte Iler and
Oliv Janerico each scored a game-high three goals to lead the 25
th-ranked Colorado College women's lacrosse team to a 18-5 victory over UW-Eau Claire Friday afternoon in the semifinals of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament.

With the victory, the Tigers improve to 14-3 overall and advance to the WIAC championship game for the third consecutive year. CC will face UW-River Falls in the final on Sunday, May 3, at 12 p.m. (CT).

After UW-Eau Claire scored the first goal of the game just 15 seconds into the contest, the Tigers collected the next eight goals, including a pair by Iler, to take an 8-1 lead with 12 minutes remaining in the second quarter

Sofia Mancino and Janerico scored in the final four minutes of the period to give CC a 10-2 advantage at halftime.

The Tiges increased the lead to 14-3 after the third quarter and cruised through the fourth to secure their 10
th consecutive victory.

Iler added three assists for a game-high six points, Janerico chipped in with two assists and
Sofia Niklaus,
Meilani Molina and
Maddie Jenks each scored twice the Tigers.
Lydia Desrochers led the defensive effort with a game-high three caused turnovers.

"This is an exciting weekend ahead as we try to secure our first ever AQ and we are definitely hungry," head coach AJ Johnson said. "We played a great game today, sharing the ball and playing together. Lydia came up big with some heads up pickoffs from the defensive end."
The winner of the WIAC championship game on Sunday will collect the league's first automatic qualifying berth to the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament.
