CC Releases 2026-27 Hockey Schedule

Colorado College has released its 2026-27 hockey schedule, again playing one of the most demanding slates in the country. The Tigers will play 16 games this upcoming season against teams that competed in the 2026 NCAA Tournament and 20 against teams that were ranked in the final 2025-26 USCHO Top-20 poll.

The Tigers open the regular season by hosting perennial NCAA tournament team UMass, Oct. 2-3, followed by an exhibition against the U.S. National Under-18 Team, Oct. 9, at Ed Robson Arena.

Two games at UConn, another team from the NCAA Tournament, on Oct. 16-17, precede a pair of games against Air Force, Oct. 23 at Robson Arena and Oct. 24 at Cadet Ice Arena, for the Pikes Peak Trophy, which has resided at CC since 2018.

The Tigers open play in the NCHC at Robson Arena against Minnesota Duluth on Oct.30-31, then host Lindenwood, Nov. 6-7. Following a weekend series at Western Michigan, Nov. 13-14, CC returns home for a pair of series against Miami, No. 20-21, and Alaska, Nov. 27-28.

A weekend at Arizona State, for the inaugural Ed Robson Cup, Dec. 4-5, followed by a home series against NCHC-newcomer St. Thomas, Dec. 11-12, leads into the Tigers closing 2026 and opening 2027 at Alaska Anchorage, Dec. 31-Jan. 1.

Beginning Jan. 8, 2027, Colorado College plays 14 consecutive league games, starting with a series at Minnesota Duluth, Jan. 8-9. The Gold Pan series begins with a single game at defending national champion Denver on Jan. 16, followed by home games against St. Cloud State, Jan. 22-23, and Denver on Jan. 30.

CC will travel to North Dakota (Feb. 5-6), host Western Michigan (Feb. 12-13), and head to Omaha (Feb. 19-20) before closing out the regular season with a home-and-home series vs. Denver, with the teams facing off at Magness Arena on Feb. 26 and Robson Arena on Feb. 27, marking a change in the final weekend from the NCHC schedule release due to facility-scheduling issues.

Colorado College will not host NCHC-foes North Dakota, Arizona State and Omaha or travel to St. Cloud State, Miami and St. Thomas in '26-27.

The NCHC playoff format will once again take place over three weeks entirely on campus sites. All 10 teams will make the NCHC Tournament, with best-of-three series set for March 5-7, 2027, at the five highest seeds. After reseeding the five winners, No. 4 will face No. 5 in a quarterfinal game at the site of the No. 1 seed on March 12, with the winner facing the No. 1 seed, and No. 3 playing at No. 2 in the semifinals on March 13. The NCHC championship game will then be held on either Friday, March 19, or Saturday, March 20, at the highest remaining seed.

Colorado College has sold out every home game at Robson Arena since opening in October of 2021. Season ticket renewals are underway, with a June 3 deadline.  If interested in CC Hockey Season Tickets for the 2026-27 season, go to www.cctigers.com/tickets to get on the official season ticket waitlist.
