Allison Barker and sophomore
Oliver Smeal each collected a second-team All-America honor Saturday on the final day of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in La Crosse, Wis.

Barker earned her first career All-America nod with an 11
th-place finish in the women's 1500 final on Saturday. She crossed the line with a time 4:28.26 and joins former Tigers Annabel Arnott (1995) and
Isabel Olson (2025) as All-Americans in the event.

Smeal, meanwhile, placed 16
th in the men's javelin with a toss of 191' 10" to gather his first All-American award. He is the second athlete in program history to become an All-American in the javelin, joining Marshall Griffith (1969). Â Â
"Allison put herself in today's race with an extremely competitive field and Ollie had a great end to his break out season," head coach
Katie Bretscher said. "I'm so proud of everyone this weekend for their performances."Â
Including this season, Bretscher has doubled the number of All-Americans for CC since her arrival in 2021. The Tigers had 10 All-Americans prior to '21 and have had 11 since then.
