Former Tiger Great Jenny Jenks Returns as Assistant Volleyball Coach

Two-time SCAC Setter of the Year and Honorable Mention All-American Coming Back to Colorado Springs

Colorado College interim head volleyball coach Nikki Binetti announced that former Tiger setter Jenny Jenks has been named an assistant coach for the program.

Jenks, who is ranked No. 4 on the school's career assist list with 3,442, returns to Colorado Springs after serving as a project manager for the Girls Soccer Network and the head coach of a U-13 team with the Surfside Volleyball Club in her hometown of Manhattan Beach, Calif.

"We are thrilled to welcome Jenny back to CC as a member of our coaching staff," Binetti said. "She had an outstanding career here as a player, and we're excited to bring her experience, knowledge, and passion back into the gym. Her deep connection to the program, combined with her skill and leadership, will be an incredible asset as we continue to build on our success. We cannot wait to see the impact she makes in this new role and are proud to have her back where she belongs."

Jenks was a two-time Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Setter of the Year and honorable mention All-American during her time at CC. She led the team in assists each of her last three years, including a career-high 1,368 as a sophomore in 2021 en route to her first of two consecutive conference Setter of the Year awards.

"Coming back to coach at Colorado College is such a full-circle moment," Jenks said.  "Some of my most meaningful experiences and relationships were built here, and this program challenged me to become the best version of myself on the court and beyond. CC volleyball has a tradition of excellence and a legacy built by generations of exceptional coaches and student-athletes who have shaped this team and its culture. I am incredibly grateful for the coaches who invested in me, believed in me, and had such a lasting impact on my life. I can't wait to get back in the gym and reconnect with the Tiger community."

Following her four years at Colorado College, Jenks played the 2024 season as a grad student at Pomona-Pitzer, where she led the team in assists with 766 and was named second-team All-SCIAC.

Jenks earned her bachelor's degree in business, economics and society in 2024, then received a master's degree in business management from Claremont Graduate University the following year.
