Recent Colorado College graduate Alison Mueller-Hickler has been named one of eight  finalists for the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Woman of the Year Award. 
 
The award recognizes the conference's senior female student-athlete who has best distinguished herself throughout her collegiate career in the areas of academic achievement, athletic excellence and service and leadership.
 
Mueller-Hickler is a three-time All-American between cross country and track & field, including two first-team selections this season, placing 26^th at the 2025 National Cross Country Meet and seventh in the 10K at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. She finished 10^th in the 10K at the 2025 National Track & Field Meet to earn second-team All-America honors
 
The Katy, Texas, native won the SCAC Cross Country individual title last fall and has captured two SCAC 10K championships. She ran in the NCAA cross country meet all four years and won the 2025 West Region title.

Mueller-Hickler graduated with a 3.91 grade-point average and a bachelor's degree in environmental science and was selected to the CSC Academic All-District team as a junior and senior. 

She was also the recipient of the Laura Golden Award, established in 1981 in honor of the late women's basketball coach and 1995 inductee into the CC Athletics Hall of Fame. It is awarded each year to the top senior female student-athlete at Colorado College.
