CC hosted its season-opening Pikes Peak Challenge last weekend. The Tigers finished the tournament with a 2-1 record, defeating Augustana College and St. Norbert, 3-0, and dropping a narrow 3-2 decision to No. 9 Calvin, including a 20-18 score in the fifth set.

Annie Joo was named the SCAC Volleyball Setter of the Week for her performance at the Pikes Peak Challenge last weekend.

Joo, from San Jose, Calif., was key for the Tigers in all three matches at the Pikes Peak Challenge, including posting a season-high 51 assists against Calvin. She leads the SCAC in total assists with 103 and averaged 9.36 assists per set.

Joo added 18 digs and 12 kills during the opening weekend en route to a spot on the all-tournament team
Scouting The Opposition
Allegheny enters the weekend with an 1-5 record. It's most recent match was a 3-0 loss to John Carroll on Tuesday.

Hiram is 4-2 after falling 3-0 to Marietta on Tuesday. The Terriers went 3-1 at the Great Lakes Cross Over last weekend. Â Â
Case Western Reserve went 2-2 at the Great Lakes Cross Over last weekend after falling 3-1 to Mount Union in the season opener on Sept. 1.
