Colorado College defeated Redlands 2-1 on Saturday at Farquhar Field. Colorado College scored twice in the second half and held Redlands scoreless after halftime despite being outshot 7-3 in the half.
First Half

Spencer Besselaar stopped Zachary Darmanyan in the opening minute, and Redlands added a blocked shot before Colorado College pushed forward with a
Jack Hilliard corner at 5:16.
- Colorado College followed with blocked shots from
Zeke Lubin and
Jack Purvis, a
Teddy Opler header saved by Jaden Nisperos and another Hilliard corner before
Aris Lindquist's header was saved at 8:51.
- Redlands moved in front 1-0 at 11:20 when Darmanyan scored off assists from Garrett Colley and Landon Azavedo.
- Colorado College had a
Grayson Capodanno shot go wide left at 32:34 and a Hilliard shot blocked at 44:59, while Redlands held the 1-0 lead at halftime.
Second Half
- Colorado College tied the match 1-1 at 50:27 when
Arlo Sollinger scored off an assist from Hilliard. Sollinger has now scored in three consecutive games.
- After a red card to
JT Newbury at 52:25, Besselaar saved a Landon Azavedo shot and Redlands put another attempt wide during a stretch before Colorado College moved in front.
- Opler scored at 73:41 off assists from Capodanno and Sollinger to give Colorado College a 2-1 lead. Opler's goal marked a career milestone with a total of five game-winning goals.
- Besselaar added saves at 78:25 and 88:32, and Redlands sent another shot wide as Colorado College finished off the 2-1 result.
Opler scored the game-winning goal and put both of his shots on frame. Sollinger finished with a goal and an assist on his only shot. Hilliard recorded an assist and added two shots, including one on goal. Besselaar made five saves while playing all 90 minutes in goal.
Colorado College recorded three assists in the game, exceeding its season average of 1.67. Colorado College is 3-1-0 overall. Redlands is 3-1-1 overall.
