The Colorado College volleyball team travels to Grand Rapids, Mich., this weekend for three matches at the Calvin University Invitational. The Tigers will face SUNY Cortland (2 pm ET) and Otterbein (4:30 pm ET) on Friday, Sept, 18, then 16^th-ranked UW-Whitewater at 12 pm ET, on Saturday, Sept. 19.
 
Last Time Out
CC went 3-0 last weekend at the Case Western Reserve Quad in Cleveland, Ohio. The Tigers defeated Allegheny College and Hiram College, 3-0, and Case Western Reserve, 3-1. Colorado College is 5-1 this season, its best start since 2022.

SCAC Weekly Award
For the second consecutive week, Colorado College senior Annie Joo was named the SCAC Volleyball Setter of the Week after leading the Tigers to a 3-0 record at the Case Western Reserve Quad.
 
Joo, from San Jose, Calif., led the Tigers with 109 assists and was third on the team with 26 digs in CC's victories over Allegheny College (3-0), Hiram College (3-0) and Case Western Reserve (3-1).
 
She averaged 10.90 assists per set, helping the team to a 0.276 attack percentage, while adding nine kills and a service ace as Colorado College is off to its best record after six games (5-1) since 2022.

Scouting The Opposition
SUNY Cortland is 4-2 after going 3-0 at the Keystone Spirit of Service Classic in La Plume, Pa., last weekend. The Red Dragons downed Elmira, Mt. St. Vincent and Keystone College, all by a score of 3-0.
 
Otterbein, which is receiving votes in this week's AVCA Division III Coaches Poll, is 7-0 after defeating Kenyon College, 3-1, on Tuesday. The Cardinals went 2-0 at the Pam Briggs Classic in Columbus, Ohio, last weekend.   

16^th-ranked UW-Whitewater is 4-1 after a 3-0 victory over Cornell College last Friday. The previous weekend, the Warriors went 2-1 at the Kean University Invitational, beating Cortland (3-1) and Kean (3-0) and falling to Penn State-Harrisburg (3-1).
