Colorado College played Wis.-Eau Claire to a 2-2 tie on Sunday. After being held scoreless in the first half, Colorado College scored twice after halftime and finished with nine shots while facing 15 from Wis.-Eau Claire.
First Half
- After Wis.-Eau Claire earned the first corner at 1:05, the early flow was broken up by five fouls from 5:32 to 13:10 around Colorado College's corner at 10:16, followed by a Wis.-Eau Claire yellow card at 13:42 with the match still 0-0.
- Wis.-Eau Claire generated the next shot at 15:09 and added a corner at 22:04 and a shot at 22:44, while Colorado College had shots from
Teddy Opler at 23:15 and
Zeke Lubin at 25:23, the latter stopped by a team save.

Spencer Besselaar saved a Wis.-Eau Claire shot at 29:36, and the visitors added a 35:10 corner, a 35:58 shot and another saved attempt at 40:53 before Tobias Volkmann scored at 40:53 to put Wis.-Eau Claire ahead 1-0 at halftime.
Second Half
- Wis.-Eau Claire generated early pressure while ahead 1-0, including a Ramzi Ouro shot saved by Besselaar at 54:14 and corner kicks at 54:19 and 59:48.
- Colorado College tied the match 1-1 at 64:07 when
Connor Salita scored off assists from
Aris Lindquist and
Jack Hilliard, then kept pressure on with a Hilliard shot on goal and two corner kicks in the next six minutes.
- Hilliard put Colorado College ahead 2-1 at 72:26 from an Opler assist.
- Wis.-Eau Claire tied it 2-2 at 84:35 on an Owen Backus goal assisted by Noah Malcook, and Besselaar made three saves in the final five minutes as the match finished even.
Hilliard scored once, added an assist and led Colorado College with four shots, including two on goal. Salita converted his lone shot on goal and was credited with a match-tying goal—his first of the season. Opler recorded an assist and added three shots. Opler registered his first assist of the season. Lindquist also contributed with his first assist of the season. Besselaar finished with six saves in 90 minutes, a season-high for the team.
Colorado College has scored at least two goals in three consecutive games. The team is 4-1-1 overall. Wis.-Eau Claire is 4-0-2 overall.
