Colorado College defeated Neb. Wesleyan 1-0 on Friday at Abel Stadium. Colorado College withstood seven Neb. Wesleyan attacking actions between 73:12 and 84:57 without conceding as part of the shutout.
First Half
- Colorado College created early pressure with two
Jack Hilliard shots saved by Christian Lindseth at 3:08 and 7:01 around two corner kicks, then added attempts from Hilliard and
Arlo Sollinger before Lindseth saved Sollinger's shot at 16:15.
- The middle of the half stayed scoreless through a card-and-foul stretch that included a yellow card to Wil Tobaben at 26:25 and four fouls between 29:15 and 35:33.

JT Newbury sent a shot out top left at 37:15, and
Spencer Besselaar saved Caden Carpenter's shot at 40:51 before the half ended 0-0.
Second Half
- Colorado College opened the half with sustained pressure, recording five shots and two corner kicks from 46:29 to 53:46, then added six more shots through 66:33.
- Besselaar saved a Neb. Wesleyan shot at 68:39, and Colorado College moved ahead 1-0 when
Whit Hynes scored at 72:39.
- Neb. Wesleyan pushed back with five shots and two corner kicks through 84:57, but Besselaar made three saves in that stretch, and Colorado College finished off the 1-0 win.
Hynes scored an unassisted game-winning goal on one of his two shots. It was Hynes' first goal of the season and his first game-winning goal of the season. Besselaar made five saves over 90 minutes and recorded the shutout. Colorado College has achieved at least five saves in two consecutive games. Hilliard led Colorado College with nine shots, including three on goal. Hilliard's nine shots surpassed his career average of 2.44, and his three shots on goal exceeded his career average of 1.24.
Teddy Opler reached a total of 25 shots for the season, contributing three in the current game.
Colorado College is 5-1-1 overall. Neb. Wesleyan is 3-4-1 overall.
