Wyatt Linggi's shot at 68:17 before Besselaar saved Benson's attempt at 72:20.
- Trailing 2-0, Colorado College generated three shots from 75:47 to 80:22, with
Zeke Lubin's try saved by Alex Keekley. Besselaar later saved two Eli Ryan shots during a Saint John's (MN) push from 81:12 to 85:56, and Keekley stopped
Whit Hynes at 89:52 as Saint John's (MN) finished the 2-0 win.
Besselaar recorded four saves while playing all 90 minutes in goal. This exceeded Colorado College's season average of 3.43 saves during the 2026-27 season. Stapley shared the team lead with two shots. Hynes matched Stapley with two shots and put one on goal.
