The Colorado College Tigers opened their Mountain West schedule on Thursday, taking on newcomer Hawaii in a 2-0 win Stewart Field. The Tigers finish the week vs UC Davis with a 1 pm kickoff vs UC Davis on Sunday.

The Tigers are trying to capture back-to-back wins for the first time since the first two matches of the season when they defeated Creighton and Drake on home turf. The Tigers feel well prepared for Mountain West competition after weathering their way through a tough non-conference schedule, playing mostly on the road.   

The junior class has provided all the offense for CC the last three matches, with Bella Stewart scoring her first two goals as a Tiger, both in the second half vs Kansas State. Then, the Tigers' lone goal came on a beautiful direct kick from captain Finley Schoenbeck that went crossbar and in to give CC the draw against Colorado State. Schoenbeck kept the momentum going vs Hawaii scoring two goals to give CC the 2-0 win on Thursday night.

UC Davis is off to a rocky start to the 2026-27 season as they sit 2-6-2 through ten matches on the year, as they join with Hawaii, UTEP, and Grand Canyon as new all-sport members to the Mountain West. The Aggies have no multi-goal scorers yet on the season, as they have five players with one goal, and just four players with an assist, as Courtney Wagner is the only player on the squad with more than one assist at two. The Aggies scored two goals to beat Fresno State in their opening match of the season, which stands as the only match on the year that they have scored more than once in a match. Thier goal vs Air Force on Thursday snapped a streak of three straight games without a goal. Piper Wilkison has been the starter in goal the last couple of weeks, after Dina Frenkel started the year in goal split up by one appearance by Cat Pieper who played the whole match vs LMU for her only appearance of the season.
