The Colorado College Tigers continue their season long road trip on Thursday when they head north to Brookings, South Dakota to face off with the South Dakota State at Fishback Soccer Park. The match is set for a 7 p.m. Central Time (6 PM Mountain) kickoff and will be broadcast live on the Summit League Network.
The Tigers are looking to get back in the win column for the first time in three matches. The squad did snap a two-game slide with a scoreless draw last Thursday at Denver, but are winless since August 16th at home vs Drake.
ABOUT SOUTH DAKOTA STATEÂ
The Jackrabbits are coming into the match with a 4-1 record after blitzing Western Illinois 5-0 at home last Thursday. All five of the Jacks goals were from unique scorers, with Hannah Langstaff providing two assists as both Brianna Finnegan and Emily Krings notched a goal and an assist each. The 4-1 start is the best for SDSU since 2023 when they began the year 7-1. Ranking first in assists (31) in Division I, and third in goals (25), the Jacks pose a serious offensive threat.
SERIES HISTORY
The Tigers and Jackrabbits have met once before Thursday's action, with CC defeating SDSU 1-0 in Colorado Springs on August 22nd, 2024. The match featured a goal from Alexis Wessler in the 66th minute. Kendall Memoly recorded the assist on the strike, as current Tigers, Memoly, Regan Wallace, Tyler Rose, Finley Schoenbeck, Charlotte Strabel, and Meli Coats all appeared in that game for CC in 2024.
