Brian Gustafson

Brian Gustafson, the former head basketball coach at Woodland Park High School from 2001 through 2012, is in his seventh season as an assistant coach at Colorado College.
 
Gustafson, who led the Panthers to back-to-back appearances in the state tournament in 2006 and ’07, currently serves as director of business services for the Woodland Park School District and head coach of the boys golf team at Woodland Park HS.
 
He was the school’s director of athletics and activities from July, 2008, through May, 2012, as well as a business education teacher for eight years (2000-08).
 
Gustafson graduated from Colorado State University in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration (finance). Three years later, he earned a master’s in physical education (sports administration) from the University of Northern Colorado.
 
Before transferring to CSU, he played one season of basketball at Hastings College.
 
Gustafson also has coached at several summer camps, including those at the United States Air Force Academy and Western State Colorado University, as well as the Don Eddy Basketball Camps.
 
He and his wife, Lynette, reside in Woodland Park.
