Colorado College Athletics

Wes Kosel is the assistant director of the Adam F. Press Fitness Center. He moved into this position after completing four seasons as assistant basketball coach for the Colorado College men's program (2014-2016, 2017-2019). He also served as an assistant coach at Augustana University (S.D.), Texas Lutheran University, and Haskell Indian Nations University (Kan.).

Kosel, a native of Bartlesville, Okla., graduated from the University of Kansas in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. He also has a master's degree in physical education from the University of Houston.

Kosel is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a Certified Personal Trainer, both of which are certifications earned through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He also is a Level 1 Certified Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting, a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, and an ACE Certified Senior Fitness Specialist.
