Shawn Maloney is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Colorado College men’s lacrosse program.
 
Maloney serves as the team’s goaltender coach and will assist in scouting, recruiting and administrative operations.
 
Maloney, who graduated from Colorado College in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in political science, was a four-year starter as an attackman. He served as a team captain in 2007 and 2008 and was named CC’s Rookie of the Year as a freshman in 2005.
 
A native of Walpole, Mass., Maloney graduated as the all-time leading scorer at Walpole High School.
 
Maloney currently is pursuing a master’s degree in sport coaching from the University of Denver Graduate School of Professional Psychology.
 
He coached previously at Berkeley High School and Oakland Lacrosse Club in California.
 
Maloney lives in Denver and also coaches club with 3d Lacrosse.
