Before Colorado College: Played lacrosse and football at Rogers High School in Puyallup, Wash. … Earned six varsity letters, including four in lacrosse … Was a three-year captain of the lacrosse team and captained the football team as a senior … Earned second-team all-state honors in lacrosse as a senior and was an honorable-mention selection as a junior … Named the team’s defensive MVP in 2010 when he posted a .600 saves percentage … The school’s Athlete of the Year, he also was runner up for the Presidential Award … Earned Scholar-Athlete recognition and received the Spanish Award.
