2012-13: Received the team’s Coaches Award … Set personal records in three swims at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships … Would have earned a spot in the finals of the 200 free with his exhibition mark of 1:47.57 in the preliminaries … His exhibition clocking of 48.59 in the prelims of the 100 free would have won the consolation final, and he went .26 faster in a time trial … Posted a time of 22.71 during the preliminaries of the 50-yard freestyle and then lowered that with a 22.41 in a time trial … Earned a spot on the SCAC Honor Roll for excellence in the classroom … Represented Colorado College in the SCAC Character & Community Program.
    
2011-12: Swam the third leg for the 400 freestyle relay team that finished ninth at the 2012 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships in a time of 3:12.56 … Also anchored the 200 medley relay team that finished 12th in 1:40.31 … Claimed 11th place in the 100 free in a clocking of 51.10 … Finished 15th in the 100- and 200-yard backstrokes in season-best times of 57.59 and 2:03.98, respectively … Earned a spot on the SCAC’s Honor Roll for excellence in the classroom.
    
2010-11:
  Posted career bests in the 50 freestyle (22.81) and the 100 (57.60) and 200 (2:03.76) backstroke during the SCAC championships … Placed 14th in the 100 and 200 back at the conference championships ... Named to the SCAC's Honor Roll for the second year in a row.
    
2009-10:
Placed 16th in the 100 back at the SCAC Championships … Placed third in the 200 back and ninth in the 100 back during the CC Classic … Earned his first spot on the SCAC’s Honor Roll.
   
Before Colorado College:
Bowers lettered three years in swimming at Judge Memorial Catholic High School in Salt Lake City, where he also played golf and soccer...earned academic all-state honors as a senior.
