Under her tutelage, Zoë Tomlinson was selected as an honorable mention All-American. She has coached additional All-America honorees in Anna Fanelli (’23) and McKenzee Gertz (’21) and multiple SCAC Newcomer of the Year” and Player of the Year recipients.

The CC program has earned increasingly positive outcomes in areas such as wins accumulated, winning percentage and conference-leading team statistics as well as top national and conference-level individual recognitions with Guhl on the bench. Her primary duties include halfcourt defense, transition offense, and overall scouting strategy. Additionally, Guhl provides tremendous impact in the way of leadership development and relationship-building.

Prior to her time at CC, Guhl was a top-tier coach in the Colorado girls’ basketball ranks, guiding Colorado Springs Christian School to a 65-13 record, two league titles and a regional championship. She was the Denver Post 3A Coach of the Year in 2010 and has guided teams to competing in state championship games and multiple semi-finals.

Guhl was a multiple-sport athlete at Colorado Springs Christian School, earning 11 varsity letters in volleyball, basketball and soccer. She was a first-team all-state selection in basketball and soccer and named the Colorado Springs Gazette’s Soccer Player of the Year.

She played college basketball at both Hastings College and the University of Colorado. Guhl earned a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
