Before Colorado College: Competed in basketball and track & field at Juneau-Douglas High School in Juneau, Alaska … Earned three varsity letters in each sport … Was a second-team all-state and first-team all-conference selection as a junior … Helped the Bears win the 2009-10 state championship and finish second in 2010-11 … Team all captured four consecutive regional titles … Also earned the school’s Academic Award in basketball as a junior … Was a four-time regional champions in the 100-meter dash, as well as the 4x100 and 4x200 relays … Named the track and field team’s MVP and won the Top Points Award for the 2011-12 season … Was class valedictorian … Earned a spot on the school’s honor roll every year between 2009-13 … Was vice president of the National honor Society as a senior … Won the Juneau Arts and Humanities Scholarship from 2009 through 2012.
