Biography
2013: Hayden ran a leg on CC's 4x400-meter relay team that earned all-conference honors with a third-place clocking of 4:24.89 at the SCAC Championships ... also turned in a season-best 27.97 in the 200-meter dash at the league meet.
2012: As a sophomore ran the 400 in season-best 1:03.49, the 200 in 28.47 seconds and was part of the fifth-place 4x400 relay team (4:14.39) at SCAC Championships.
2011: Garnered the Women’s Rookie Award in a vote by her teammates after posting strong times in the 100 and 200-meter dashes, including a personal-best 13.27 seconds in the 100 at the Occidental (Calif.) Invitational. She ran her season-best 27.96 in the 200 at the CSU-Pueblo Invitational. Also part of the seventh-place 1,600 relay at the SCAC Championships that ran a season-best 4:16.46.
Before Colorado College: Hayden competed in freshman and J.V. Soccer, cross country, cross country skiing, and track and field at Simsbury High School in Simsbury, Conn…earned letters in varsity cross country skiing for two years, and varsity track all four years.
