Kassidi Gilgenast

Kassidi Gilgenast, who is in her first season as a volunteer coach, brings a wide variety of experience to the Colorado College staff.
 
Gilgenast played Division I and club volleyball at the University of Colorado as a libero/defensive specialist. While serving as captain and president of the collegiate club program, she helped the Buffs finish third and ninth overall at the NCVF National Championships in 2011 and 2012. Warnock was named CU’s Collegiate Sport Clubs Female Athlete of the Year and Most Valuable Player during her final season there.
 
Most recently, Gilgenast served as an assistant director with Sunshine VBC Colorado in Boulder, where she was head coach of the 16s and director of beach training.
 
Gilgenast also worked as a coach at the Colorado College and Liberty High School volleyball camps for several years, as well as director for the Buff, Set Smash! Grass Volleyball tournament and Little Buffs Youth Clinics at CU.
 
Gilgenast earned a degree in business administration/marketing and holds certificates in digital media & operations, as well as information management.
 
A Colorado native, Gilgenast competed for Liberty High School in Colorado Springs. She was team MVP and captain in 2008, when she earned 4A all-state and all-conference honors.
 
Gilgenast is an avid doubles player and competes in beach and grass volleyball tournaments throughout Colorado, as well as in USAV Adult Division I indoor competition.
 
She currently resides in Colorado Springs.
