Getz joined the Colorado College Volleyball coaching staff in the Fall of 2022.
After graduating high school Getz attended Concordia University St. Paul where she played collegiate volleyball from 2009-2013. During her career at Concordia the volleyball team continued their winning streak and her team won 4 Division II NCAA National Championships. Michelle graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor's degree majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in Gerontology.
In 2010 she started her volleyball coaching career at the club level, she worked with ages 13s-18s. During most summers she would travel around the Twin Cities and coach high school aged camps as well. The club teams she coached for are as follows: Woodbury, Kokoro, Minnesota One, Minnesota Select and Colorado Juniors.
Michelle grew up in Woodbury, Minnesota and played club volleyball at Minnesota One, one of the top Junior Olympic programs in the Twin Cities.
