2019: Named a third-team All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association … Became the fourth Tiger to earn three or more All-America certificates, joining four-time recipient Cathy Costello and three-time winners Abbe Holtze and Amy Smith on the exclusive list … Named to the AVCA’s all-West Region team for the third year in a row … Earned first-team all-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference honors for the third consecutive season and all-conference accolades for the fourth time overall … Despite playing most of the season without a pair of starters, Counts led Colorado College to a .260 team hitting percentage, which led the SCAC and ranked seventh nationally … The Tigers also finished first in Division III in assists (13.78) and kills (14.52) per set … Named to the NCAA all-Region Team after setting CC to a .279 hitting percentage during its three matches … Also earned a spot on the SCAC all-tournament team and was voted MVP of the Colorado College Invitational by the opposing coaches … Named SCAC Offensive Player of the Week for the fifth time in her career on Oct. 14 … Dished out 996 assists to become the second player in program history with 4,000 or more … Ranked fourth on the team with 252 digs and 45 total blocks, and fifth with 26 aces … Posted eight double-doubles (assists-digs) … Finished her career ranked second in program history with 4,170 assists, sixth with 149 aces and 12th with 1,110 digs … Earned a spot on the SCAC Academic Honor Roll for the fourth year in a row and was one of five Tigers who were named to the honor roll as well as the all-conference team.

Before Colorado College: Earned four varsity letters playing volleyball at Bishop O’Dowd High School in Oakland, Calif. … Served as team captain as a senior … Helped lead the Dragons to a 56-0 record conference record and four consecutive championships … Bishop O’Dowd won North Coast Section championships in 2013 and ’15 and was runner-up in 2012 … Qualified for the state tournament all four years and advanced to the quarterfinals in 2012, ’13 and ’15 … A second-team all-Western Alameda County Conference selection in 2014 and ’15 … NorCal Volleyball Club setter for six years and helped the team earn five trips to Junior Nationals … A four-time conference All-Academic selection and received the team Scholar-Athlete Award each season … An AP Scholar with Distinction … Earned a spot on the school’s honor roll every semester.
