Melanie August and Eliese Hansberry combined for 54 points on Friday, fueling Colorado College to a come-from-behind 85-81 victory over Hendrix College in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference game in Conway, Ark.

After seeing their team fall behind by eight points late in the second half, August and Hansberry led the Tigers on a 19-7 run down the stretch that helped CC improve to 8-4 overall and 2-2 in the SCAC.

August finished with 28 points while Hansberry had 26. Becky Luetjen added 13. August added 14 assists and 12 rebounds.

It was the second of five consecutive road games for Colorado College.

Hendrix, also 2-2 in league play, dropped 8-5 overall. The Warriors were led by Christina Byler's 17-point performance.
