Colorado College won its third consecutive match while posting its second sweep in a row, defeating Colorado State University-Pueblo in the wind on Thursday afternoon.
“It's great to see us get some wins under our belt in different conditions,” Wright said. “It will allow us to feel like we can take on anyone at anytime.”
The Tiger now have won 25 of 27 matches since falling to Air Force in its season opener.
Megan Bock posted the most dramatic win of the day at No. 6 singles, earning a 9-7 victory in her first singles match of the season. She began the day be teaming with Sally Bryant for an 8-6 triumph at No. 3 doubles.
“Megan played very well in both of her matches,” head coach Perry Wright said. “Her determination and focus during the match was clear.”
Bryant had the most dominating effort, cruising to a 6-0, 6-0 decision at No. 5 singles.
The Tigers will be idle until March 18 when they play Salisbury University in the first of five matches in Southern California.
“We're glad to leave Colorado feeling confident about our game as we head towards some good competition in California during spring break,” Wright said.
