Aspen Young has been selected to compete in the singles competition of the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships in Chattanooga, Tenn. She will face Lauryn Douglas of Bethel University in the first round on Friday, May 22, at 9 a.m. (ET).

Young was named the first alternate for the competition earlier this month, but was notified that one player had withdrawn from the tournament, allowing Young into the tournament.
The Niceville, Fla., product is 22-5 overall this season in singles, including a 19-4 dual match record, all at the No. 1 position. She rolled through the SCAC regular season and tournament with a perfect 11-0 mark at the top spot and, along with two teammates, broke the school record for most singles wins in one season, surpassing Britt Swenson, who was 19-3 overall in 2008.

Young will be the first female tennis player from Colorado College to play in the national individual tournament since Laura Hoeven and Karen Ruehl in 1985.
The Tigers made their second appearance at the NCAA Team Championships in program history. falling to Pomona-Pitzer, 4-1, in the second round on May 8.
