Wrapping up their West Coast training trip in style, the Colorado College men splashed to an impressive third-place finish Wednesday at the California Lutheran University Relays in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

The Tigers won two events – the 400-yard medley (3:50.15) and the 150-yard breaststroke (1:27.27) – en route to compiling 310 points, 45 fewer than meet winner University of Puget Sound (355) and just 30 behind second-place Whitman College (340). Lewis & Clark College (284) and host Cal Lutheran (213) rounded out the field.

Junior Tom Grossinger and freshman Tyler Larrabee swam legs in both CC victories, while Grossinger also was part of  the runner-up 150-yard butterfly (1:13.58) threesome with sophomore Jordan DeGayner and senior Jack Ludwig. 

Sophomore Devin Wahl and freshman Flynn McGuire joined Larrabee and Ludwig as Colorado College also took second in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:27.41.
