Led by senior forward
Sarah Wolff and junior defender
Sydney Fetter, who also earned the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal, a total of 17 Colorado College players have been named to the league's Academic Honor Roll for 2009-10.
The distinction is awarded to those C-USA student-athletes, in all sports sponsored by the conference, who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or better. CC has competed as an affiliate member of Conference USA, in women's soccer only, since 2006.
Nine of the Tigers recognized, including Fetter, will return to play for Colorado College in 2010.
The Commissioner's Academic Medal requires a GPA of 3.75. Wolff, who will graduate next month with a degree in mathematics, has been a recipient for three consecutive years. The current award is the first for Fetter, an economics major.
