Colorado College had 32 turnovers and managed just 11 shots during a 17-3 loss at No. 16 Bowdoin College on Saturday afternoon.
The Polar Bears improved to 7-5, while CC slipped to 7-4
The Tigers trailed 13-0 before Gioia Garden scored the first of her two goals 5:57 into the second half.
Katy Dissinger scored all three of her goals during the opening 3:34, while Katie Stewart, Katie Herter and Liz Clegg added two goals apiece before halftime.
Abby Fink made 15 of her season-high 20 saves during the first half when the Polar Bears took advantage of 21 CC turnovers and launched 31 shots.
Bowdoin finished with a 47-11 advantage in total shots. The Polar Bears also had a 24-15 edge in ground balls and committed just 13 turnovers.
Tara Connolly had three saves during the first half to earn the victory in goal. Alexandra Brown stopped two shots in relief.
Colorado College travels to Bates College on Sunday to wrap-up the three-game road trip.
