Senior center
Rylan Schwartz, who led the entire nation in scoring with 53 points (20g,33a) this season, was named recipient or co-recipient of three major team awards at the Colorado College hockey team's season-ending brunch at the Marriott Hotel on Sunday.
The annual event celebrated a 2012-13 campaign in which the Tigers reached the championship game of the WCHA Final Five in the program's final year as a member of the conference.
Schwartz, currently with Worcester Sharks of the of the American Hockey League, was voted winner of the Thayer Tutt Award honoring CC's most valuable player in addition to the earning the M.B. Hopper Award as its top scorer. He also had his name engraved for the second time on the Tony Frasca Award as playoff MVP, sharing the honor this season with senior goalie
Joe Howe.
Senior right wing
William Rapuzzi, who served as team captain in 2012-13, joined Schwartz as a multiple winner, taking home both the Steve Ebert Award – recognizing a combination of dedication, desire, ability and sportsmanship – along with the Rodman Award presented each year to a relatively unheralded player demonstrating the highest degree of sportsmanship. The award is named after Dr. Hugh Rodman and his wife, Crete, who founded it in 1980.
Also receiving recognition at Sunday's ceremony were junior left wing
Alexander Krushelnyski and junior defenseman
Eamonn McDermott, who emerged as co-recipients of the Paul Markovich Award as the team's top students. Both Krushelnyski and McDermott were named WCHA Scholar-Athletes in February. Sophomore defenseman
Peter Stoykewych snagged the Dave Peterson Award as Colorado College's most improved player, while freshman left winger
Hunter Fejes claimed the Bob Johnson Award as rookie of the year.

That award, initiated in 2002, is presented annually to individuals who have given their heart and soul through dedication to Tiger Hockey.
McDermott, meanwhile, was elected team captain for 2013-14, when founding member CC helps the fledgling National Collegiate Hockey Conference make its debut. Wearing an 'A' on their jerseys as assistants next season will be Krushelnyski, Stoykewych and senior-to-be
