Ukasick paced the Tigers with season highs of 19 points and 12 rebounds, while Davis added 16 points and a career-best 12 rebounds.

Courtney Tyus flirted with a triple-double, finishing the contest with 17 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

CC raced to an early 9-4 advantage and led 11-10 midway through the first half, but Johnson & Wales used a 13-2 run to open a 10-point lead with just over eight minutes to play.

After the Tigers clawed their way back to tie the score at 24-24 on a layup by sophomore guard
Katie Wirth, JWU closed out the half with a 12-4 surge to build a 36-28 lead after 20 minutes.

The Wildcats stretched their advantage to 67-53 with 6:43 remaining, only to see Colorado College cut its deficit to six points with 3:56 to go after Tyus knocked down a pair of jumpers. That proved to be as close as the Tigers would get as JWU sank nine of 12 free throws to close out the game.   Â

Kourtney Shirley led the Wildcats with 22 points and 14 rebounds, while Alex Courtney added 14 points and 12 boards. All five of JWU's starters finished with double-digit points.Â

CC turned in a dominating effort on the glass, grabbing a season-high 64 rebounds compared to only 47 for JWU.Â

The Wildcats made up for the difference at the charity stripe, where they converted on a fraction over 81 percent of their 32 attempts.
