Waters gave the Tigers an 11-9 lead when she scored on a layup 6:27 into the first half, and Colorado College trailed by only a point after sophomore guard
Katie Wirth hit a jumper for two of her eight points with 10:17 to play.

The Pirates scored 19 of the next 25 points to open a 34-20 lead, but the Tigers closed out the half on a 5-0 run to pull to within nine points after 20 minutes.

Southwestern began the second half with a 15-4 spurt to end any hopes of a CC comeback.
