Box Score Korbyn Ukasick recorded her first career double-double, but Colorado College dropped a 68-50 decision at the University of Dallas in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference opener for both teams on Saturday afternoon at UD's Maher Athletic Center.

Ukasick, reached double figures for the sixth time this season with 12 points and grabbed a season-best 10 rebounds to pace the Tigers.

Courtney Tyus also scored 12 points and dished out five assists. She climbed into a tie for fourth on the program's all-time assist chart with
Marissa Gradoz (2009-13), who recorded 225 during her four seasons at CC.

UD jumped out to an early six-point lead, but the Tigers knotted the score at 15-15 on a fast-break layup by sophomore forward
Danielle Davis.

The Crusaders countered with 14-3 run to build an 11-point advantage with 2:36 remaining in the first half and took a 10-point lead into the break.

Colorado College cut its deficit to eight points when sophomore guard
Katie Wirth sank the last of her eight points early in the second half, but Dallas outscored the Tigers 19-7 during the next eight minutes to put the game away.

Christy Allen paced the Crusaders with 12 points and a game-high 12 rebounds. Brooke Hagemann added 12 points and seven boards, while Holly Tonry finished with eight assists.

CC plays at home for the first time in league action when Austin College and Centenary College visit Reid Arena next Friday and Sunday, respectively.
