Last Time Out
The Tigers snapped a seven-game losing streak on Nov. 21 with a 5-2 victory over Wisconsin at home. Juniors Jared Hanson (Palmer, AK) and Cody Bradley (Tampa, FL) each had a goal and an assist and freshman Chase Perry (Andover, MN) posted his first career win with 24 saves. Senior Aaron Harstad (Stevens Point, WI) opened the scoring with his third goal of the season, fellow senior Scott Wamsganz (Anchorage, AK) scored his second goal in as many games and sophomore Luc Gerdes (Eden Prairie, MN) notched his first goal of the season. Junior Hunter Fejes (Anchorage, AK) tied his career-high with two assists against the Badgers ... On Saturday, Nov. 22, the Tigers dropped a 3-1 decision to Air Force in the annual battle for the Pikes Peak Trophy. Senior Charlie Taft (Edina, MN) scored his first goal of the season just 1:39 into the contest. Sophomores Sam Rothstein (Minnetonka, MN) and Matt Hansen (St. Cloud, MN) assisted on the play. Perry made 22 saves for CC.

Up Next
The Tigers remain away from home next weekend, taking on Western Michigan in Kalamazoo, Mich., on Dec. 12-13.

For the Record
Colorado College is 3-8 overall and 0-5 in the NCHC this season following its non-conference split with Wisconsin and Air Force … Minnesota Duluth is 9-5 overall and 5-3 in the NCHC following a split at Nebraska Omaha, Nov. 21-22. The Bulldogs captured a 3-2 victory on Friday, but UNO rebounded for a 4-1 victory on Saturday. UMD swept then-No. 1 ranked Minnesota the previous weekend, winning 3-0 and 2-1. The Bulldogs, who are 6-2 in their last eight games, have not played an unranked team this season.

The Coaches
Mike Haviland (Elmira College, '90), who is in his first season at the helm of the Tigers, came to Colorado College after serving one year as head coach of the Hershey Bears (AHL). Haviland was an assistant coach for the Chicago Blackhawks from 2008-12, helping the team win the Stanley Cup in 2010 … Scott Sandelin (North Dakota, '86) is in his 14th season at Minnesota Duluth and has a 255-249-67 record at the school. He led the Bulldogs to the 2011 national championship and won the Spencer Penrose Award (Division I Coach of the Year) in 2004.

All-Time Series
Friday's game marks the 179th meeting between the Tigers and Minnesota Duluth. Colorado College holds a slim 86-84-8 advantage in the series, but the Bulldogs posted a 2-1-1 record against CC last season.

Scouting the Opposition
Sophomore Dominic Toninato leads UMD and is tied for sixth in the NCHC in scoring with 13 points (9g,4a) this season. He is second in the league with nine goals. Fellow sophomore Alex Iafallo follows with 11 points (2g,9a) and is tied for sixth in the conference with nine assists. Freshman goalie Kasimir Kaskisuo has played in 12 games and sports a 2.09 goals-against average, good for fifth in the NCHC.

Bradley Continues to Lead CC in Scoring
With his two points against Wisconsin on Nov. 21, Bradley has recorded at least one point in six of CC's 11 games and leads the team in scoring with eight points (5g,3a). He has scored in five of the team's last eight games, dating back to the Oct. 18 game at home against No. 3 North Dakota. Bradley is tied for 11th in the NCHC with five goals and scored the GWG in the season-opener against Alabama-Huntsville.

Two Long Stretches on the Road
After playing their first four games of the season at The Broadmoor World Arena, the Tigers have played one game at home since Oct. 18. Also, outside of a pair of exhibition games against the USA Under-18 team in late December, CC's next home game is Jan. 16 against Nebraska Omaha. However, after that the Tigers have only two road trips,  to North Dakota (Jan. 23-24) and Omaha (Mar. 6-7) and a single game at Denver on Feb. 21. The Tigers are 3-2 at home and 0-6 on the road this season.
