Box Score Colorado College was unable to keep Pacific Lutheran at bay as the Lutes rallied from behind to beat the Tigers in overtime, 76-70, on Friday evening during the Pacific Northwest Tournament in Tacoma, Wash.

Katie Waters led CC with a season-high 21 points, while
Danielle Davis earned her first double-double of the season with 12 points and tied her career-high 12 rebounds.

The Tigers led at intermission for the first time this year with a 32-23 edge and held their largest lead of the game with 18:11 left in the second half at 36-25.

CC held a 41-32 lead, but Pacific Lutheran's Megan Abdo hit a pair of free throws with 11:55 remaining in the second half to ignite a 16-6 run and earn its first lead since early on in the game at 48-47 with 5:45 left on the clock.

The teams traded baskets for the remainder of the half when
Courtney Tyus made a free throw to give the Tigers a 59-56 lead with 16 ticks remaining. Abdo knotted the game with three seconds left as she drained a 3-pointer to send the game into overtime.

Sarah Barker hit a jumper 13 seconds into overtime to give the Lutes the lead and the game as Pacific Lutheran controlled overtime with a 17-11 run.

CC shot a season-high 41.9 percent (26-62) from the floor and out-rebounded Pacific Lutheran, 49-43, but too many turnovers proved too costly

Tyus added 14 points, six assists and tied her career-high seven steals against the Lutes. Freshman
Malia Shappell added nine points to aid the offense.

Pacific Lutheran (2-3) had five players in double figures with Taylor Flemming leading the way with 19 points. Jori Hall added 17 points, while Abdo and Barnes added 14 and 11 points, respectively. Lacey Nicholson rounded out the scoring with 10 points.

Colorado College (0-8) will play the University of Puget Sound in the final day of the Pacific Northwest Tournament at 4 p.m. PT.
