Box Score Despite double-digit scoring from a trio of players, Colorado College dropped a 79-53 decision at second-seeded Trinity University in the opening round of the 2014 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship on Friday night.

Sophomore forward
Danielle Davis made five of 10 shots from the floor and paced CC with 14 points. She also grabbed seven rebounds.

Courtney Tyus finished with 13 points and nine boards. With four assists, the junior guard finished the year with 122 – the fifth-highest single-season total in program history.

Freshman forward
Korbyn Ukasick added 13 points and seven rebounds.

Colorado College grabbed an early 7-3 lead after Ukasick scored 2:23 into the contest and trailed just 19-13 after Tyus knocked down a short jumper midway through the first half.

A Davis layup trimmed the CC deficit to nine points with five minutes remaining, but Trinity closed out the half with a 21-4 run to build a 26-point lead after 20 minutes.

Anecia Richardson led TU with 15 points, while Murphy Burns added 12.

Colorado College finished the season with a 2-24 record.

Trinity (19-7) will face either the University of Dallas or Southwestern University in Saturday's second semifinal at 7 p.m.
