Just after CC cut a 10-point deficit to 26-25 with 6:35 remaining in the first half, Holmes and senior forward Donte McGee scored five points apiece as Texas Lutheran outscored the Tigers 14-4 to take an 11-point lead with 2:19 to play before the break.

Colorado College was within seven after Lesnansky scored on a layup with 8:52 to go, but Holmes and McGee combined for 11 points as the Bulldogs used a 17-8 run to put the contest away.

Senior forward Russell Clark and freshman guard Eric Houska added 13 points apiece for CC, who slipped to 6-8 overall and 1-3 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

McGee recorded a double-double with 17 points and a team-high 10 rebounds for TLU, which improved to 8-6 overall and 3-0 in the SCAC.

Colorado College, 6-8 overall on 1-3 in the league, plays at home for the first time since Dec. 16 when Austin College visits Reid Arena next Friday. The two-game home stand concludes on Sunday when the Tigers play host to the University of Dallas.
