Danielle Davis was the only player to score in double figures as she led all players with 22 points, Saturday evening in the final game of the Colorado College Tip-Off Classic. The Tigers were unable to come away with the victory falling to Benedictine University, 62-42, in Reid Arena.

Davis hit 8-of-21 from the floor along with 5-of-8 from the free-throw line. The forward also grabbed a team-high four steals to lead CC. Sophomores
Francesca Cendali and
Nina Holley added six and four points, respectively.

The Eagles' Alana Ferry hit a layup 1:37 into the game to ignite a 12-0 run, which ended on a pair of free throws by Tayler Walker to take a 12-1 lead with 2:48 remaining in the first quarter.

Freshman
Casey Torbet cut the Eagles lead to 17-10 with 5:22 left in the second quarter, but DeKayla Crayton hit a pair of free throws with 4:15 remaining to spark a 16-4 run and enter halftime with a 33-14 lead.

Davis came out strong in the second half scoring 19 or her 22 points in the second half alone, but Benedictine was able to keep its distance the remainder of the game.

The Eagles were led by Crayton and Ferry with nine points apiece, while Briana Hamilton and Nicole Botich added eight points each. Botich also added a team-high eight rebounds.

Benedictine (3-1) dominated on the boards as the Eagles outrebounded the Tigers 49-23. This led to Benedictine netting 19 second-chance points.

Colorado College (0-3) will host Augsburg College on Nov. 25 at 4 p.m., before hosting its Rocky Mountain Thanksgiving Classic on Nov. 27-28.
