Box Score Senior 
Korbyn Ukasick led the Colorado College women's basketball team with a season-high 17 points and nine rebounds as the Tigers fell to Johnson & Wales University, 91-67, Wednesday evening in Reid Arena.
 
Ukasick went 6-of-17 form the floor for a 35.3 field goal percentage. The forward also dished out four assists and hit two baskets from long range.
 
CC held its largest lead of the game early on when senior 
Katie Waters combined on a pair of free throws 1:32 into the game.
 
After Ukasick hit a three-pointer with 6:28 left on the clock to give the Tigers a 9-6 lead, the Wildcats went on a 20-7 run to close out the first quarter.
 
Freshman 
Casey Torbet dished a pass to Ukasick to cut Johnson & Wales' lead to 28-24, but Chantal Thomas hit a layup to ignite a 14-3 run, which gave the Wildcats a 42-27 lead at intermission.
 
Torbet earned a career-high 13 points, while senior 
Katie Wirth added 12 points, six rebounds and a team-high five assists.
 
Andromeda Sales went 3-for-4 from the charity stripe during the final 12 seconds of the third quarter to hand Johnson & Wales (8-6) a 70-48 lead after 30 minutes. Sales finished the night with 10 points.
 
Seniors Amanda Weber and Kristen Ward led the Wildcats with 26 and 22 points, respectively. The guards each hit four three-pointers to lead all players from behind the arc.
 
Colorado College (1-8) will return to action Dec. 28 at 2 p.m. as it hosts the Pikes Peak Holiday Invitational.
