Bowman with 10:02 to go, but that would be as close as the Tigers would get to the conference leaders.
Colorado College was led by junior guard Katie Worth, who tied her career high of 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting, while junior forward
Danielle Davis finished with 10 points.
Meanwhile, Tyus, who was honored before the game for breaking the 1,000 point mark last weekend, recorded four points, a team-high five assists and a game-high four steals.Â
For Southwestern, senior Jordan Owens paved the way with a game-high 17 points.
The Pirates also got 10 points apiece from seniors Annie Bourne and Valerie Logan.
SU improved to 12-11 overall and 10-2 in the SCAC.Â
The Tigers fell to 2-22 overall and 2-11 in league play.
Colorado College plays its final game of the season against Texas Lutheran University on Sunday 1 p.m.
