Box Score Even though she has played her last game as a Tiger, the Colorado College women's basketball program won't soon forget the contributions of
Courtney Tyus.

In a 78-68 loss Sunday to Texas Lutheran University on senior day, Tyus led the Tigers with a team-high 21 points and entered her name into yet another column in the record books.

She also recorded a game-high seven assists and seven rebounds, becoming the 18
th Tiger in CC history with 500 or more career rebounds, finishing her career with exactly 500. She also finished her career second in program history with 417 assists and ninth with 1,034 points.

The accolade is the latest honor for the lone senior on the team, who also posted two steals and a game-high two blocks against the Bulldogs.

CC led for much of a tightly contested first half, thanks in part to eight first-half points from junior
Danielle Davis. Â

With three seconds remaining in the half,
Katie Waters was fouled on a defensive rebound and proceeded to make her two free throws at the other end. With the free throws, the Tigers ended the half tied at 32.

In the second half, the Tigers and Bulldogs exchanged the lead six times in the first six minutes.

Eventually, the Bulldogs began to pull away thanks to consecutive 3-pointers from Kristin Lye and Katie Moore.

Their lead grew to as many as 11 before CC junior
Korbyn Ukasick drained a three-pointer to put the score at 66-62 with 6:20 to play.

With CC still down by four points with 52 seconds to play, the Bulldogs made 8-of-10 free throws in the final minute to put the game away.

Davis finished with 14 points, followed by Ukasick and Waters with 11 and 10, respectively. Â

The Bulldogs were led by a 23-point performance from Karisa Cantu, who was 10-12 from behind the line. Savannah Hight and Taylor Dydalewicz also scored in double figures.

With the loss, the Tigers finish their season 2-23 overall and 2-12 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
