Chris Lesnansky's second-half surge powered Colorado College to a 71-64 win over Austin College on Friday evening in Sherman, Texas.

The senior, forward scored 22 of his game-high 24 points in the second half alone. His 24 points tied a season-high, while adding a game-high nine rebounds.

With 6:14 left in the game, Austin's Kevin Graham hit a layup on a fastbreak to give the 'Roos a 56-54 edge.

Lesnansky came back scoring 10 points in the final six minutes to help ignite a 17-8 run to put the Tigers, who improved to 12-10, 6-5 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, ahead with the victory.

Russell Clark added 10 points and five rebounds, while junior
Justin Berardino earned eight points and a career-high six assists. Â

The difference in the game came from the charity stripe as the Tigers were nearly perfect hitting 20-of-21 from the free-throw line, while the 'Roos hit just 10-of-18 from the line.

Austin was led by Eghosa Egbinosa and Alan Sullivan with 12 points each; Brian Baehl added 10 points to aid the 'Roos, who dropped to 7-13, 3-7 in conference.
