Korbyn Ukasick combined for 36 points, but that wasn't enough as Colorado College dropped a 66-54 decision to Texas Lutheran University on Friday evening in Reid Arena.

Davis led the team with 20 points and six rebounds, while Ukasick added 16 points and four rebounds.

Colorado College pulled to within 45-48 using a 9-3 run early in the fourth quarter when senior guard
Katie Waters drained a free throw with 6:07 remaining in the game, but that proved to be as close as the Tigers would get as the Bulldogs used an 18-9 run to close out the game. Â

Texas Lutheran built an early 8-2 lead when junior guard Cierra Jordan made a layup with 4:52 left in the first quarter, but CC came back on a 5-2 run to pull within 7-10 on a pair of free throws by Davis. The Bulldogs were able to close out the quarter with a 5-0 run to take a 15-7 advantage after 10 minutes of action.

After sophomore guard Adelaide Wenzel hit a jumper 2:17 into the second quarter to give TLU its largest lead of the first half at 17-7, Ukasick struck back scoring seven points in a span of 1:16 to pull the Tigers to within 14-19.

Ukasick hit her final three of the half with 25 seconds left on the clock to close the gap to 26-23, but junior guard Bailey Champion made a pair of free throws with nine seconds remaining to give TLU a 28-23 cushion at halftime.

Freshman guard
Casey Torbet hit a layup with 20 seconds remaining in the third quarter to come within five points, but TLU close out with a 4-0 run to end the quarter at 45-36.

The Bulldogs had three players score in double figures as they improved to 10-9, 5-2 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference. Jordan led the team with 12 points, while sophomore guard Jasmine Sauceda and Wenzel added 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Colorado College (2-17, 1-7 SCAC) returns to action on Sunday at 2 p.m. in Reid Arena.
