Mason Bergh's attempt and the RedHawks collected the extra point in the conference standings. The two teams are now tied for seventh place in the NCHC. Â Â Â

Leclerc did his job throughout the first period and most of the second until Gerdes evened the score at 1-1 late in the middle period. He collected the puck from behind the net and fired a shot from the bottom of the right circle that sailed over the right shoulder of Larkin. Fellow senior
Matt Hansen recorded his first point of the season with an assist and freshman
Kade Kehoe had his first career assist on Gerdes' third goal of the campaign.
