Danielle Davis led Colorado College with 24 points in her final regular-season game of her career, but that wasn't enough as the Tigers fell to Schreiner University, 75-60, on Saturday evening in Kerrville, Texas.

Davis shot a blistering 75.0 percent from the floor on 9-of-12 shooting and went 6-of-7 from the charity stripe. This was the eighth time this season that the senior has scored 20 or more points in a game. Davis also grabbed five rebounds and dished out a team-high four assists.

Casey Torbet also added double-figure scoring for CC with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Wirth added seven rebounds and four assists, while Torbet handed out three assists.

Davis hit a jumper to tie the game at 6-6 with 6:41 left in the first quarter, but Schreiner's Kelsie Jackson and Jordyn Villa combined for five points to give their team the edge midway through the quarter.

Wirth scored a basket with just under two minutes in the first quarter to pull within three points, however, Jackson drained a three-pointer to spark a 6-0 run to end the quarter with a 23-14 lead.

Schreiner continued its run into the second quarter scoring 10 of the next 13 points to take its largest lead of the half at 33-17 with 4:40 left in the quarter. The Mountaineers went into halftime with a 40-25 cushion.

CC had a late run in the fourth quarter after Schreiner had built a 73-46 lead when Dyamond Puebla made a free throw with 4:39 left on the clock. Fourteen seconds later Wirth drained a pair of free throws to ignite a 14-2 run to cut the Mountaineers lead almost in half.

Jackson led Schreiner (11-12 9-4 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference) with 17 points, while Alina Hilliard added 14 points. Codi Simmons and Kendall Dyal also aided the offense with nine points apiece.

Katie Waters added six rebounds.
