Korbyn Ukasick led Colorado College with a career-high 22 points, but that wasn't enough as Austin College defeated the Tigers, 79-55, in their final home game of the season in Reid Arena on Sunday afternoon.

Ukasick went 8-for-16 from the floor, while shooting 4-of-7 from long range to lead the team on offense. This was only her second game in her career where she has scored 20 or more points.

Danielle Davis, who played in her final home game, finished with 16 points, while leading the team with nine rebounds and five assists.

Austin began the game with a 12-0 run that lasted just over four minutes when sophomore guard Kali Vittallo hit a three-pointer with 5:56 left in the first quarter. Ukasick scored the first points for CC when she drained a three-pointer 16 seconds later.

The 'Roos were able to hold onto their 12-point lead heading into the second quarter with a 21-9 advantage after 10 minutes.

Colorado College closed to within 17-26 when sophomore guard
Francesca Cendali made a free throw with 6:13 left in the second quarter, but Austin came back with an 11-2 run to come away with a 40-24 lead at intermission.

The 'Roos took their largest lead of the game at 60-32 when junior guard Olivia Cicci hit a three-pointer with 2:25 left in the third quarter.

Davis made a free-throw with 1:56 left in the third quarter to spark a 13-3 run to close to within 48-63 on an Ukasick three-pointer with 5:59 left in the final quarter. That was as close as the Tigers would get as the 'Roos were able to keep its cushion.

Austin, which improved to 14-7 and 8-3 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, was led by junior forward Kendall Heitmeier with 15 points and senior guard Katie Gowdy with 13 points. Freshman forward Bryce Frank and senior forward Chrissy Ray also scored 12 points apiece, while Vittallo added 11 points.

Colorado College (4-19, 3-9) concludes its regular season in Texas as it takes on Trinity University and Schreiner University on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
